This includes all bug fixes from the update, and much more. Far Cry 2: Redux is a massive overhaul of Far Cry 2. Far Cry Primal FPS Issues, performance issues like Low FPS and FPS Drops are common in the newly released games. The "Special" version of Hunter's Far Cry 2 update has now been finished, and has branched off as a separate release. This mod should help with slower quad-cores (slightly) and slower GPU's (more so), but that is all.Far Cry 2: Redux is a mod for Far Cry 2, created by BigTinz. Note: You still need a quad core CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 64bit OS.
Highly speculative, but cards such as NVIDIA GT 540 / GTX 450 / GT 630 / GT 740, ATI Radeon HD 5800/5700, Intel HD 4000/4500, and any similarly low-spec mobile versions (460M, 540M, 630M, etc) may run the game at playable FPS with this mod. In extremely limited testing using otherwise the same graphical settings, I've achieved these results: If you have a graphics card that is at, slightly above, or slightly below the minimum requirements - this is for you! If you have a Mobile GPU - this is for you! This mod isn't meant to look pretty, just make the game play smoother for those who couldn't do so otherwise. I've been working on a mod to enable lower-end systems to play FC4, and here it is in all its *beta version* glory:
